I already posted an article about Airtel 3G , Now Testing of airtel 3G is already begin. One of my friend in Airtel Punjab told me that airtel will begin 3G launch within 1 week from now, There may be some delays because recently govt. of India poses a condition that private telecom companies will set up a server to monitor real time video calls within 6 months.
So, with this hurdle now being removed ,Airtel started testing their network in Delhi and Mumbai. Some friends from New Delhi, claims that their mobiles starts showing Airtel in network mode 3G or hspa mode. So, Anytime , may be beginning of this new year airtel will start its 3G service.
One more news, Do you know, Sprint telecom launched 4G services in New york and San Fransisco today. 4G service will be up to 10x faster, based on download speed comparison of 3G’s 600 kbps vs. 4G’s 6 Mbps. Industry published 3G avg. speeds (600 kbps-1.7 Mbps); 4G avg. speeds (3-6 Mbps).
