Anil Ambani-controlled Reliance Communications announced the launch of its 3G services in four cities at what it called affordable tariffs.
"With the 3G roll-out, Reliance Communications becomes the first operator to offer 3G services to customers in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chandigarh. The company would cover all its 13 zones by the end of March next year," RCom's President and CEO (Wireless Business), Syed Safawi, told reporters here.
Under its 'Affordable 3G for All' plan, the company said the 3G USB Data card for 3G 7.2 Mbps will cost Rs 2,599 and for 3G 21 Mbps will cost Rs 4,499.
The pricing of 3G mobile broadband data will start from Rs 100 for 100 MB to up to Rs 2,100 for 21 GB per month, the company said.

Reliance Comm has won rights in an auction this year to provide the premium services in 13 of India's 22 telecom zones.
The company is targeting a national footprint of Reliance 3G services through associations with other like-minded, quality 3G licensees in the balance 9 telecom circles during the course of next year.
"In the next three months we will launch it in the remaining nine circles and are targeting a nation-wide presence next year,"he said.
"Reliance 3G places us in a unique position with our suite of offerings covering 3G, CDMA, GSM and Mobile Broadband Data Services on the wireless platform," he said.
"Reliance 3G services will offer the widest bouquet of cutting-edge services including video calling, mobile TV, video-streaming and applications accessed at superfast speeds ubiquitously on a variety of mobile and personal computing devices", Reliance Communications 3G Head, Prashant Gokarn, said.
Reliance Communication has partnered with the world's best organisations, including Nokia for devices, Facebook, Nokia and Ericsson for applications, Universal Music for content and Motricity for web portal, Gokarn said.
The company has a customer-base of over 124-million including over 2.5-million individual overseas retail customers. It ranks among the top four telecom companies in the world by number of customers in a single country.
