Airtel 3G Data Tariff Plans
Airtel 3G Data Plans starts from Rs. 9 per day but as of now they don’t have any unlimited Data Plans at the moment.
* Rs. 9 for 10 MB, validity 1 day
* Rs. 45 for 40 MB Validity 3 days
* Rs. 60 for 65 MB, validity 3 days
* Rs. 103 for 100 MB, validity 30 days
* Rs. 200 for 250 MB, validity 30 days
* Rs. 450 for 600 MB, validity 30 days
* Rs. 750 for 2 GB, validity 30 days.
All 3G plan includes Video calling at 5p/sec tariff for both Local and STD.
For Heavy Users, Airtel has Rs. 650 plan which offers 1.25 GB free data usage for 30 days. After 1.25GB, VBC of 1p/100KB upto a max shield (amount) of Rs 2000. Post hitting the shield value, enjoy free unlimited browsing at 20kbps speed, validity 30 days.
Airtel 3G launch Dates
Airtel has got 3G licenses in 13 circles across India, but it will be available across India through collaborations with other service providers by the end of March 2011.
Airtel 3G Data Card Rates
Like other 3G service providers, Airtel 3G data cards are available in 3.6 Mbps and 7.2 Mbps variants whereas the rates aren’t revealed yet which will be updated soon.
How to activate Airtel 3G
SMS 3G to 121 and you don’t have to buy another SIM to enjoy 3G services as existing 2G SIM will be converted into 3G automatically on activation.
After the confirmation by subscriber 3G Data Plan “Pay As You Go will be activated and all data access will be charged at 30p / 20kb (approx Rs. 15/Mb)
