Amazon.com finally launched its online store in India, it currently offers books and movies DVD but it will also sell cameras and mobile phones very soon as per Amazon India website. It is an official launch but Amazon.com already running his online store as "Junglee.com" due to FDI restrictions in India.
So, Amazon.com finally started its direct operations in India, it will get stiff competition from Ebay.in, Shopclues.com, Rediff.com, Indiatimes.com and Snapdeal.com, which will only help consumers.
